Our first ASK KRIS Q&A session got great response, so please keep your questions coming! This week, Kris answers questions about how he thinks the market will fare over the next year, and how he thinks the election will affect the market for gold, silver, platinum, and other precious metals.
Q: Where do you see gold and silver going over the next 12 months?
Kris: I see a stable market over the next 12 months, and I expect an increase based on the evaluation of the US Dollar. I expect the dollar value to fall, increasing the value of precious metals. The metal is watch closely is platinum, it’s been down for too long.
Q: I just inherited an estate that includes a large amount of precious metals. What is your advice?
Kris: Get an honest evaluation from a reputable person and make the decision on whether to sell or hold based on your personal financial situation and you debts owed by the estate.
Q: How do you see the election results affecting the precious metals market?
Kris: If Clinton is elected, I expect status quo, which is not good for the dollar because of rising cost of inflation. If Trump is elected, I would assume that the deficit will go up, which will have a positive effect on metals.
